Alliance Cleaning recently provided a completely free cleaning service to a local Scout Hut in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, as part of a new scheme to give something back to the local community and bring people together. At a time of rising costs, where every business is feeling the squeeze, as well as the turbulent few years we have had during the pandemic, we felt as though it was the perfect time to do what we can to help give back to local charities and businesses.
The 1st Broxbourne Scout hut phoned us asking for a price to deep clean their facilities. We jumped at the opportunity to offer our Alliance giving back service of which the scout group was over the moon. With our mixed team of office and field based staff we provided a team of 8 for the day and completely deep cleaned the Scout hut, including wooden floor polishing, carpet cleaning, floor steam cleaning, window cleaning inside and out, a complete deep clean to the kitchen, hall, washrooms, kitchen, upstairs meeting rooms, stairs and much more, in order to leave the whole building spotless.
Once completed the scout’s leaders came back to view their cleaned premises and were thrilled with the outcome. A few weeks later the ACL team were presented with numerous pictures that the children from the scouts club had taken time out to draw to thank us for their lovely clean hut to which we were really touched by.
This is all part of the new scheme that Alliance Cleaning has adopted, where we aim to provide a free cleaning service to a local community charity or business property every quarter.

In the next quarter of this community scheme, Alliance Cleaning will be providing a full cleaning service for free to Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne. This will include cleaning the soft play area, the seating area in the cafe as well as cleaning all the windows at the property.
