Our CSR programme covers three areas: the communities we serve, the people we employ, and the environment we all share. Community giving sits at the heart of it. Through the Alliance Giving Back initiative, our staff volunteer their time and skills to support local non-profit organisations, charities, and community groups, with all activities provided free of charge. We also invest in our people through the Alliance Pathway development programme and follow environmentally responsible practices under our ISO 14001 certification. 

Alliance Giving Back is our community engagement programme. In 2025, our staff pledged 650 volunteer hours to local causes, including community clean-up events, welfare programmes, and partnerships with non-profit organisations. Our teams provide cleaning services to groups that may not have the resources to arrange them independently. All of this work is done voluntarily by our staff, at no cost to the organisations we support. 

Yes. We provide free or subsidised cleaning services to community facilities, support centres, and charitable organisations. We also offer affordable cleaning services to low-income individuals and families. Our teams support a range of projects including community facility cleans, neighbourhood clean-up events, and ongoing partnerships with charities and housing associations. We work with care organisations, support centres, and local councils. Our staff choose the causes they get involved with, and all volunteer hours are given freely outside of contracted work. 

The Alliance Pathway is our in-house development programme, open to all team members regardless of experience or role. It covers six areas: business administration, financial awareness, customer service, health and safety compliance, marketing principles, and teamwork. The programme runs on an ongoing basis and helps staff build transferable skills that support their careers at Alliance and beyond. 

We offer careers rather than just jobs. Our team benefits from ongoing training through the Alliance Pathway, fair wages, performance recognition, and genuine career progression. All staff undergo thorough vetting including identity verification, eligibility checks, and references, with enhanced DBS clearance available where required. We are also working towards London Living Wage Employer status. 

We are actively working towards becoming a London Living Wage Employer as recognised by the Living Wage Foundation. We already pay fair wages, offer competitive rates with overtime and holiday pay, and provide staff benefits including performance-based recognition, ongoing training through the Alliance Pathway, and long-service awards. 

We hold three ISO certifications: ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 9001 for Quality Management, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety. Each certification is independently audited on an annual cycle, giving our clients verified assurance that our management systems meet internationally recognised standards. 

We use non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products across all our contracts. Our approach includes water-efficient cleaning techniques, waste minimisation through recycling and reuse, and efficient route planning to reduce vehicle emissions. We work with suppliers who meet our environmental standards and support both staff and clients in building sustainable cleaning habits on site.
